There are times when the church needs to get together and celebrate seeing God do something special in their midst. So often we become so overwhelmed by schedules and time we forget that the church thrives on relationships, recreation and revival. Of the types of revival, retreat or conferences that Built 2 Last Ministries wishes to partner with your church in, the Amazing G.R.A.C.E. Revival Weekend event has us especially excited. For one great and, yes, busy weekend, the church will play together, pray together, reach out to the community together and be renewed in its walk with God together. This Revival Weekend involves five basic events. It must be noted that the scope of these events will be directly driven by the resources your congregation has at its disposal. The events that involve the youth or children may be big productions or simple affairs, but they will have one thing in common, when done properly they will draw people to the event and those people will experience the word of God specifically for them. Built 2 Last Ministries will provide suggestions for games, activities and even music if the congregation so desires, but ultimately this your church's chance to come together and invest in its people and future. Built 2 Last Ministries is there to be a resource to you during this weekend's events. The five special events are:
Friday Night
G3 Youth Rally
This rally is designed to be a draw to the youth of the area. Giving your Student ministries the chance to reach their un-churched and lost friends. The rally involves the use of three key elements: Þ Games which are geared towards youth involvement.
Þ Goop (Food) that Teens love, such as pizza
Þ God—Youth Style worship service with Gospel message.
Saturday Morning
Rejoice Children’s Celebration
Using a carnival/festival type atmosphere, this event allows the children of the community to come together for fun and games, while still hearing about the joy of a relationship with Jesus Christ. This event uses:
à Clowning, face painting, blow-up play equipment, etc. (whatever the church has available for children’s recreation)
à Refreshments for the children and their families.
à Special worship experience for the children.
Saturday Afternoon
Acts 1:8 Community Outreach
This is a chance for the church to reach out to its community. Offering fliers and personal invitations to be a part of the Revival services to be held on Sunday. During this times of visitation any Youth or Children who made decisions during the G3 and Rejoice events can be followed-up with concerning public decisions on Sunday.
Saturday Evening (at 7:14 PM)
C714 Prayer Rally
In an effort to live out the principles of 2 Chronicles 7:14, the church has the opportunity to come together in a time of prayer...seeking God’s hand and movement during the services the following day. The church will find itself encouraged to come together in one accord for the purpose of calling on the name of the Lord for renewal and His working hand in their midst.
Sunday Morning and Evening
Experience the Joy Revival Services
All the efforts to reach out to the youth and children; to visit in the community; and to seek the face of God come down to this time of renewal in the midst of the church. The messages will be geared to reach the people of that community, after careful conversation with the Pastor and the natural leading of the Holy Spirit. The joy of God’s salvation will be offered to the lost as the saved are given the opportunity to have the joy of their salvation renewed and restored like David of old.
It must be pointed out that as your guest I would naturally be at every event, getting to know your people and the community. During the youth and children's events I will be presenting a message designed to communicate the gospel clearly and without pressure or manipulation for each particular age group. Remember that this special weekend is about seeing God do something amazing in your church and community as it experiences His grace anew. It is not about the evangelist or Built 2 Last Ministries.
